Ways To Reduce Face Fat
We all have a personal view of our own appearance, whether right or wrong. The majority of us have features we like, and some we are very happy with. But as we live in an appearance driven world pretty much everyone has parts of their body that they consider to be less than ideal in some way. This may be part of our nature, or the pressure of the constant bombardment of the perfect body by the media.
If you think you look bad everyone else probably thinks that their physical faults are worse or more noticeable than yours, and if you are prone to having extra facial fat, you may have a list of reasons why you think your appearance is not attractive.
Our faces are the main focal point of contact with everyone around us. When we look at someone, whether we're glancing as we walk down the street or pass someone in the aisle of the grocery shop, we look at each other's faces. The face gives off so much expression and info about who we are, or more importantly about how we are feeling. You know the old adage, if you act and look confident you feel confident, or at least everyone else thinks you are confident. If you are uncomfortable with having extra facial you may avoid making eye contact and feel very under confident.
Because of this many people are looking for ways to reduce face fat. This is actually quite a common situation, and people with a little extra weight overall may not worry so much about their waist or arms, but spend more feeling uncomfortable about the extra facial fat on their cheeks and neck.
If this sounds like you then how do you go about reducing facial fat? There are a number of different answers to that question, depending on who you ask. Let's look at a few of them:
*You can tone your facial muscles with face exercises - But, if you're dealing with extra fat covering those muscles, there is not much that having toned muscles can do for your looks. It may help to lift areas of your face a little, but can toning exercises as reduce face fat? Probably not is the answer.
*Lose weight overall- If your body is overweight as a whole, chances are that your face will probably reflect that. You can reduce face puffiness if you start in on a reduced calorie diet to control your overall weight. You may not notice it immediately on your face, but it should come off if you stick with it. You will feel better, and look better too.
*You can use special firming lotions or creams- No lotion will actually remove fat from the face. Obvious point aside, but if you are interested in trying something like this, go ahead and try and firm up your skin and se if this helps.
*Change your make up or hair style. Again this will obviously do nothing to actually reduce face fat, but it can change the appearance of fat on your face by complimenting your shape. Consult a cosmetician for tips and tricks and have your hair cut and styled by someone who can tell you about your face shape and what hairstyle can provide you a thinner appearance.
